About Internships: Through practicum placements with universities from across the country, our program model provides free screening and assessments, asylum evaluations, individual counseling, group therapy, mental health literacy, and basic psychoeducation.

Students placed in the Mental Health Program are interdisciplinary, coming from Social Work, Psychology, and education programs. Clinical services include overall mental health care coordination with interpreters and cultural brokers to help accommodate language and culture barriers. Collaboration is done with an interdisciplinary team, and case managers to provide integrative comprehensive care. With the help of our amazing team and interns, we provide psychoeducation, clinical therapeutic services at no cost to our clients. We are excited to continue to grow and develop our team and program to meet the needs of CWS’s staff and the amazing communities we serve!
